Necrophilia (English script)

PAGE 1: INTRODUCTION.
PANEL 1: EXTREME CLOSE UP. In this horizontal frame, the shoulder of a WOMAN has been grabbed against the button of a coffin by the hand of a MAN with a black jacket. It can be guessed that both characters are lying inside it. The Hand grabs strongly the shoulder; it touches it as if it was trying to feel it entirely. Even the stretched thumb looks like it is trying to reach the breast of the WOMAN. The HAND wears a wedding ring.

PANEL 2: Now it is clear that the action takes place in a graveyard at night. It could be portrayed as a darker place like in the poems of Poe or a Tim Burton´s movie; but it can also be showed as a modern cemetery and count on the fear that can be inspired by the nocturnal atmosphere. A shovel is firmly fixed to the ground, next to a tombstone. In the background, almost out of the frame, it is the open coffin and the hole from where it has been dug up from.

PANEL 3: MEDIUM SHOT. The funny thing of this shot is how it is framing the lower part of the MAN from the back while HE is pushing his pelvis between the legs of the WOMAN. The black pants of his suit and his shorts are down and it can be seen his thin rear. SHE lies still in the coffin while HE is having sex with HER. The contrast between his movement and her immobilism is important.
The dialogue bubbles are closer and closer among them and from the fourth one they start to crowd together.

PANEL 4: INCLINED PLANE POINT OF VIEW. The BODY of THE MAN stretches when HE has an orgasm with an exaggerated expression between the legs of the CORPSE. HE (26) is thin, has brown and short hair and wears glasses. Although he is naked from waist down, he wears a black suit. The DEAD WOMAN (25) is blond and wears a black suit for women, whose skirt has been removed and whose jacket, shirt and bra have been opened to show her breasts.

PANEL 5: The MAN, tired by the effort, falls over the dead body of The WOMAN.

PANEL 6: CLOSE UP OF THE WOMAN. Her eyes are close and her faced is covered in makeup to hide her paleness. THE MAN is catching his breath over her breast and his HAND rests over her forehead without care.

PAGE 2: MAN TALKS WITH THE DEAD BODY
PANEL 1: MEDIUM SHOT. THE MAN is in front of the coffin with the skirt of the WOMAN in his hands. HE is smoking calmly and HE has an unkempt appearance. He wears his pants.

MAN
You could see she was deranged at the funeral.

MAN
I even talk to your father about it; although we both agree that was normal from her.
PANEL 2: FULL SHOT of HER lying inside the coffin with her eyes closed. THE MAN, who is kneeling over her legs, is putting on her the skirt. SHE also wears a wedding ring.

MAN

If she was someone calm and serene, it would have been “striking”; but we sure should have expected a breakdown from your mother.

MAN
At the end, she was the center of attention.

MAN
That gets me crazy.
PANEL 3: Once SHE wears her clothes again, THE MAN lies down next to HER with the cigar between his lips.

MAN
Imagine how thrilled I am to see her again.
PANEL 4: THE MAN lies on one side with his head supported by his hand. In this position, HE watches the neck of the DEAD WOMAN with desire in his face.

MAN
The silver lining is that I will have the chance to tell them that I´ll sell the pharmacy and leave.
PANEL 5: THE MAN caresses her clavicle and HE licks his own lips.

MAN

PANEL 6: THE MAN rises and watches the dark graveyard around the coffin. HE looks tense and extremely worried.

PÁGE 3: THE MAN’S CONFLICT.
PANEL 1: THE MAN takes his cigar when HE hides his mouth behind his hand in an expression of tension; but he also keeps an eye on what it is around. This shot is a low-angle from inside the coffin.
PANEL 2: CLOSE SHOT. The MAN looks away with sadness and guiltiness.

MAN
I don´t want to hurt you.
PANEL 3: REVERSE-SHOT FROM PANEL 1. THE MAN watches the DEAD WOMAN.

MAN
I tried to love you and you know that I cared for you, but…

MAN
Not as much as I do now.
PANEL 4: THE MAN holds his HEAD in desperation while HE is clenching his teeth.

MAN
Is it so hard to understand?!

MAN
I´m tired of feeling like shit!
PANEL 5: The cigar falls next to an open bag, which is alongside of the coffin. The little brightness lights what it is inside that. There are several medicines and even a syringe.

MAN
(Off)
It is not my fault! I don´t want to hurt you!

MAN
(Off)
But I also have the right…

MAN
(Off)
I…
PANEL 6: THE MAN lies over HER. HE is kissing her lifeless mouth with his arm around her neck and the other under her skirt. His eyes are closed because of his excitement. The contrast between his sexual position around the DEAD BODY and HER immobilism is important.

MAN
… I love you.
GUARD
(Off)
HEY!

PAGE 4: EXPOSED.
PANEL 1: THE MAN is coming out from the Coffin when HE sees an OLD GUARD with a flashlight in the distance walking where HE stands. THE GUARD (50) is fat, has grey hair and a beard and wears an old blue uniform with a revolver in his holster.

GUARD
What’s going on?
PANEL 2: THE MAN gets close to the GUARD while HE tries to stay between the OLD MAN and the vision of the COFFIN. Without care, the GUARD illuminates THE MAN with his lantern.

GUARD
It’s closed.

MAN
I… I know… and I am sorry.
PANEL 3: THE NERVOUS MAN shows his wallet to THE GUARD while HE is trying to stand in his way; but the GUARD sets aside the MAN aside with HIS eyes fixed in what is behind.

MAN
But I… I lost my… my wallet! This morning. And… As I thought there was no one, I sneaked in because I nee…

GUARD
Hm?
PANEL 4: THE GUARD illuminates the COFFIN. Behind the OLD MAN, THE HAND of THE MAN grabs the shovel, which is nailed to the ground (PAGE 1, PANEL 2)

GUARD
God darn!
PANEL 5:
THE GUARD falls when HE dodges by a few inches the hit with the SHOVEL made by THE MAN, who looks unhinged. When he falls, the GUARD’s hand is over on his gun.

GUARD
Jesus Christ!
PANEL 6: THE MAN goes after THE GUARD on the ground with the SHOVEL up and prepares to hit. The GUARD has the gun in his hand and points it at his ATTACKER.

PAGE 5: DEAD.
PANEL 1: THE GUARD shoots at MAN’s necks and HE turns and falls.
PANEL 2: At the same time that THE GUARD stands up, THE MAN crawls to the COFFIN while HE tries to cover the bleeding wound with his hand. However, the blood is pouring out.
PANEL 3: THE MAN grasps the edge of the COFFIN and rises with the strength of his arms to the body of the WOMAN. There is more blood coming out from the neck.
PANEL 4: EXTREME CLOSE SHOT of the MAN’S FACE lying over the legs of the WOMAN inside the capsule. He has a peaceful smile and his eyes are closed. His skin has a pale color and there is blood everywhere from the wound.
PANEL 5: THE GUARD watches the body of THE MAN, now lifeless, over the COFFIN.
PANEL 6: THE GUARD sees something that surprises him.

PAGE 6: NOT EVERYTHING IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.
PANEL 1: SPLASH PAGE. INCLINED PLANE POINT OF VIEW with the open coffin as the main focus of the shot and the GUARD horrified watching it beside it. Inside, The body of the WOMAN is still immobile, but now her eyes are open and SHE is crying with an expression of desperation. SHE looks at the GUARD while SHE can´t move anything from her neck down. THE WOMAN is alive and over her legs lays the corpse OF THE MAN, which is soaking her dress with his blood. The shovel, which has fallen over the bag, is on the ground. Around it, there are the several medicines and the syringe from the bag. The gravestone is also seen in the PANEL.
